Whānau Pakari
Whānau Pakari is a 12-month community-based, family-centred programme for tamariki and rangatahi aged 4 to 16. It helps them and their whānau to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes in a supportive environment.

How the programme works
The programme involves the whole whānau to support their child or teenager. The programme includes:
- one to one family support and group sessions
- physical fitness assessments and fun weekly physical activity sessions
- cooking sessions and virtual supermarket tours
- input from a dietitian, psychologist and healthy lifestyles coordinator
- specialised workshops and activity sessions
- medical and growth checks.
