Community dental service — Bay of Plenty

Free basic dental care is provided for tamariki and rangatahi (aged 0 to 17) by the Community Oral Health Service and contracted dentists.

Rangatahi

All eligible rangatahi (teenagers) from school Year 9 can get free dental care every year until their 18th birthday. Dental care is free even if they are not at school.

When the clinic is open our dental staff will contact you as soon as they can.

If you are on a low income or benefit, Work and Income New Zealand may be able to help you pay for immediate and essential dental treatment.
