Services we provide
We provide all inpatient care for people needing secure forensic services, follow up in the community as needed, and provide assistance to the broader mental health services regarding issues of risk and treatment.
The ARFPS is made up of different sub-service and specialist service areas, each with unique models of care that operate alongside our broader service wide framework. These are:
- Court Liaison Service
- Prison Mental Health Services
- Inpatient Services
- Forensic Community Reintegration Service (FCRS)
- Intellectual Disability Services
- Tari Kaupapa Māori
- Pacific People Services.
These subservices form an overall pathway of recovery through:
- shared values
- core documentation
- agreed milestones
- a coordinated and integrated managed care programme.
