  • Historical motivations that led to the drafting and signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • The three articles of Te Tiriti and the differences between the Māori and English versions
  • Key themes of the historical and modern grievances since the signing of Te Tiriti
  • Impacts of colonisation with modern Māori health outcomes
  • The difference between the articles and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Understand the efforts that the BOPDHB is now undertaking to uphold the Treaty relationship and improve Māori health outcomes
