Boards and Committees

The Board of Bay of Plenty District Health Board consists of eleven members of which seven are elected and the remainder appointed by the Minister of Health.

The Board is committed to ongoing improvement against the Government's health targets and wants the BOPDHB to move towards being one of the highest performing District Health Boards against all the targets. While meeting the targets themselves is important, the Board considers improved health outcomes resulting from  the targets are also important.
