Pharmacist
Whakatane
1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)

A full time vacancy exists for a qualified Pharmacist to join our friendly Pharmacy Team at Whakatane Hospital.

The hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The position is primarily at Whakatane Hospital Pharmacy, with the potential for occasional work at Tauranga Hospital Pharmacy.

Duties will include:

• Ward-based clinical pharmacy
• Inpatient, and limited outpatient dispensing
• Medicines Information
• Education for patients and staff

The successful applicant will hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate form the NZ Pharmacy Council as a Pharmacist, enjoy working in a busy team environment, have personal commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills. Hospital experience is preferred, but  not essential.
