We seek to recruit two physicians at Whakatane Hospital.  You will be working with three other colleagues providing care to a population of 50,000.  Whakatane Hospital is part of the Bay of Plenty District Health Board, servicing a total population of 200,000.  Whakatane Hospital is a level 3/4 hospital with 100 beds and provides general secondary services.  Your work will include inpatient and outpatient services as well as teaching and supervising junior staff.  We are approximately 1 hour from Rotorua, 2 hours from the ski slopes and 3 hours from Auckland.  Whakatane has a lovely climate and fantastic beaches (both for surfing and family).
