We have a vacancy for an experienced Perioperative registered nurse to join our team in the Perioperative Department. You will have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment which is patient focused, to provide safe and effective care using professional knowledge and skills. You will contribute to care planning with the surgical team, and demonstrate an understanding of patients’ rights to make informed decisions Whakatane Perioperative Department has three operating theatres, a     Post Anaesthetic Care Unit and a Day Stay unit. It is a 7 day a week service, with an on/call component for procedures outside normal operating hours.
