Information About Oral Health Services

The Bay of Plenty District Health Board funds and provides a range of free dental / oral health services for children and adolescents up until 18 years age. A limited range of publicly funded services for adults is also available in the Bay of plenty region.

The services we provide are:

• Free Of Charge Dental Care For PreSchool Children 0- 5 years
• Free Of Charge Dental Care For Children Aged 5 – Year 8
• Free Of Charge Dental Care For Youth (Year 9 – 18^th birthday)
• Emergency Dental Care For Children And Adolescents
• Emergency Dental Care For Low Income Adults
