Elections 2007
The Board of Bay of Plenty DHB consists of up to eleven members with seven elected and the remainder appointed by the Minister of Health.
Elections are held in conjunction with Local Authority elections, with the next elections scheduled for 13 October 2007.
The 2007 election will be held using the Single Transferable Vote (STV) system with constituencies "at large" (i.e. with no wards).
